Wie immer soll an dieser Stelle auf eine kleine Auswahl aus dem riesigen und täglich anwachsenden Angebot großartiger Mixe und Podcasts aufmerksam gemacht werden, welche vorallem durch ihre angenehme Trackauswahl zuletzt in besonderem Maße in der Lage waren unsere Stimmung gekonnt aufzugreifen bzw. positiv zu beeinflussen und so zum gespannten Weiterhören angeregt haben.



Los geht's mit dem Oddcast #5 von Saine. Begleitend zur fünften Veröffentlichung auf dem Label Odd Socks Records hat der hierfür verantwortliche Musikschaffende Laurie Saine aus Helsinki einen überaus schönen, musikalischen Kurztrip angefertigt. Dieser bewegt sich in bester Slo Jam Manier mal vertrakt, mal geradlinig zwischen Deep House, Funk, Jazz und Disco und ist natürlich auch gespickt mit Titeln seiner neuen und neben bemerkt, äußerst hörenswerten EP.

While the huge amount of great mixes and podcasts raises from day to day, we'd once more like to turn your attention to a small selection of mixes that kept us listening with joy.


We get started with Oddcast #5 by Saine. Accompanying to the fifth release on Odd Socks Records the Helsinki based producer Lauri Saine has created a very nice musical short trip, that is flowing and stumbling  along deep house, funk, jazz and disco in best slo jam manner. It also presents some tracks of his new EP, which is quiet worth a listen as well.



Bereits letztes Jahr entstanden aber kürzlich erst von uns aufgestöbert wurde der im Rahmen seiner Australien Tour angefertigte Mix von Kenji Takimi für, die ehemals auf 3RRR, 102.7 FM ausgestrahlte, Sendung Noise In My Head aus Melbourne. Von Japan aus ist Kenji Takimi seit Anfang der 90er Jahre nicht nur als DJ mit beeindruckender Vinyl Auswahl aktiv, sondern ebenso als Pionier des Leftfield und Alternative Disco, sowie Labelbetreiber von Crue-L und Produzent  u.a. als Crue-L Grand Orchestra und eine Hälfte der Being Borings bekannt.

It was already recorded nearly one year ago and recently discovered by us:  The Austrlia tour mix by Kenji Takimi for Noise In My Head, which was broadcasted on 3RRR, 102.7 FM in Melbourne. The Japan based Kenji Takimi is active since the beginning of the 90's and well known as a DJ with an impressing vinyl portfolio, pioneer of leftfield and alternative disco, label head of Crue-L such as producer under the moniker Crue-L Grand Orchestra and one half of the Being Borings.
